Windrix Logo The People Behind Windrix Transcription, Inc.
It is the individuals behind Windrix Transcription, Inc., who offer decades of experience and a steadfast commitment to quality, security, and customer satisfaction. Here are just of few of us.

Judy WindrixJudy Windrix, President & Founder: Judy Windrix is our President & CEO. Despite the lofty titles, she is intimately involved in the operation of Windrix Transcription, Inc. Before launching her namesake company, Judy worked in the medical record and transcription fields for many years, starting when she first came to this country at the age of 21. She attained her ART in 1970 and taught medical transcription at the Vocational Training Services for Colorado Springs, Colo. After moving to California, Judy worked as the medical transcription supervisor at UCSF for three years.
She started Windrix Transcription Inc. in 1987, and with her background in transcription set out to create a service that offered high quality, fairly priced medical transcription. As with many successful entrepreneurs, Judy has had the opportunity - or more aptly, the responsibility - of experiencing every aspect of the company's day-to-day operation. She has seen the company grow, and take on more and more challenges.
While not at work, Judy loves to spend time with her family, whether it's teaching a grand-daughter to knit, or playing slot-cars with the boys. She is committed to many causes that she believes in passionately, and tries to give back to the community that has been so good to her. She also serves on the advisory board for the Medical Transcription Module at Los Medanos College. As a first generation American, Judy believes in the American dream, and hopes that she is an example of what can be done when you have that dream, and the willingness to make it a reality.

Jason Windrix Jason Windrix is one of the founding members of Windrix Transcription, Inc. Jason has been with us since the start. He has seen the company grow — in fact, he has been instrumental in that growth. As an account manager, Jason works to ensure that all aspects of the job run smoothly. He overlooks the transcription, dictation, printing and delivering when necessary, and turnaround time of all reports under his management.
Jason is an avid Oakland Athletics fan and goes to as many games as he possibly can. With his partner, Denise, he has traveled to Europe and spends many a weekend in Monterey, Calif., just unwinding and recharging.

Donna Peizer Donna Peizer came to work for Windrix in 1997 as the manager of several accounts, including our largest contract with UCSF. Donna was a former owner of Transcription 2000, a company based in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. Donna is a graduate of the University of Colorado (B.S., Nursing) and Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Berkeley. She worked as a registered nurse for many years and practiced commercial and real estate law. The 20 transcriptionists who work under Donna's supervision are extremely loyal to her, and appreciate her knowledge base and willingness to share her expertise.
Donna has three daughters, one of whom is a teacher and transcriptionist for Windrix, another who is a physical therapist specialist in myofascial release, and a third who is a high school student. In her spare time, Donna is active in her community and enjoys movies, taking care of her yard and keeping physically fit.

Gabriela Pena is an Account Manager and Special Projects Director for Windrix Transcription, Inc. Gabriela came to us from Rodeer Transcription Service where she was a manager for their Moraga, Calif., office. With her 23 years of experience in the medical transcription field, Gabriela has been a major force in the growth and efficiency of our company. With her multiple talents, such as technical and software support, design and maintenance of databases, and software training, it's not surpising to see Gabriela developing templates or macros, researching new programs, managing accounts, or even transcribing - it's all in a day's work. When her creative juices start flowing, we never know what will develop!
Life is not "all work" for Gabriela. When not at her computer, she spends time with her very large, supportive family and friends. Her son Taylor is her pride and joy, and as a single mother, she has her hands full taking care of him. Reading, painting, swimming, and walking are what she does for fun.
We are so happy to have Gabriela as part of our team!

Rick Windrix Rick Windrix's responsibilities include the management of several accounts. Rick is our early bird, arriving at the office at 5 a.m. in order to facilitate preoperative reports and get things started for the rest of us. Rick is great at troubleshooting and is often bombarded with requests for reprints, resends, etc.
Rick was formerly in the U.S. Air Force working as an electronic technician and security expert. He later worked in the private sector dealing with manufacturing and production processes. His attention to detail and his organization skills are really an asset to our company.
At home in Clayton, Calif., Rick keeps busy with his wife Jessica, two children, Kendra and Grant, and three dogs. He is an avid sports fan and a real history/politics buff.

Amy Fedele Amy Fedele started with us on March 13th 2006 — and things have never been the same since! As an account manager Amy overlooks the transcription, dictation, printing and delivering when necessary, and turnaround time of all reports. Amy enjoys working, which is a very good thing - because she always stays busy at this challenging job. When she is not at work, Amy is caring for her Grandma and Great Aunt. There is a fun side to Amy too - she enjoys the water, and going places with her family and partner.

Chelsea Montoya Chelsea Montoya started with us on a temporary basis, working with Rick. After about two weeks, Chelsea proved to be such an asset to Windrix, that we hired her as a permanent employee. She is great at what she does, and everyone loves having her around! When not at work, Chelsea is planning her wedding for next June. She enjoys hiking and traveling anywhere she can. Chelsea is an animal lover and has many animals at her home in Clayton, Ca. Family is very important to her and she is very close to her parents and two brothers and is very excited to extend her family when she marries her fiance of 1 ½ years. Chelsea takes work very seriously and strives to do her very best at any task she is given.
